Koaich is an end-to-end encrypted workspace — messages, documents, files, and AI — designed so that even the vendor cannot read user content. Keys are generated on the user's device and never reach the server.
Koaich is a privacy-first workspace for small businesses, regulated professionals, and individuals who've thought hard about their data. Unlike traditional workspace tools, Koaich is built so the vendor cannot read user content: encryption keys are generated on each device, never transmitted to the server, and never escrowed in a recovery service. Messages use nacl.box for 1:1 and the IETF Messaging Layer Security protocol (RFC 9420) for groups; documents and files have per-object keys; recovery uses Shamir secret sharing across the user's own devices and WebAuthn passkeys on the web. Koaich is pre-launch as of May 2026 and accepting waitlist signups at koaich.com.

“Every workspace tool you use today holds the keys to your data. We built the opposite trade-off, on purpose. Even our own engineers, with full admin access, see ciphertext where your content lives.”
“Privacy is a property of the data, not a vendor promise. The math, not the policy, is what enforces it.”
“Every recent breach you've read about shares the same shape: a vendor was holding decryptable data, and on a bad day attackers got it. Koaich's architecture changes the shape.”
